As the capital city of the Philippines, Manila is home to plenty of popular sights and attractions – as well as a number of hidden gems. Rizal Park, Fort Santiago, the National Museum of the Philippines and the Rizal Shrine are just some of the attractions most visitors will stop by on their trip to the Philippines. Those who step off the beaten path, however, will discover lesser visited sights such as the Quaipo District, the University of Santo Tomas, and Malate Church. Before you leave Manila, be sure to indulge in some traditional Philippine cuisine!
