About the role:

A Finance Assistant role here at Liligo will see you develop your experience around invoicing, reporting and working with operational teams to help and make improvements to the way our clients’ financial information is captured. Each task is highly commercial and you will develop a breadth of experience that is unrivaled within the marketplace. The role offers great development opportunities for individuals who are passionate about developing their career in Finance.

Starting date: 1st of April

Key responsibilities:

  • A high degree of participation in the monthly invoicing process 
    • Full administration of invoicing
    • Request and collect invoices from our partners 
    • Update and manage our invoice platform and data
    • Maintain contact with partners throughout
  • Take on an increasingly involved role in the preparation of monthly revenue reports, from providing support to preparing these autonomously
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly and yearly closing process
  • Support controlling processes by ensuring revenue and cost data quality
  • Ensure revenue and cost data quality by supporting process management
  • Contribute to the Accounting and Accounts Receivable teams for the cash collection and payment reconciliation processes
  • Keep process and workflow documentation up-to-date
  • Take part in cost management

About you, the essentials:

  • You have some experience in the accounting/finance fields but fresh graduates are also welcome
  • You have a good understanding of general accounting processes (eg. invoice amendment or cancellation) and are able to implement them in your daily work
  • You enjoy taking ownership of your work
  • Accuracy is not just a word to you, but a driving force in your work
  • You are motivated not only to find problems, but to solve them too
  • You have upper intermediate written and verbal communication skills in English as a minimum

Nice to have:

  • French knowledge
  • International work experience in a relevant field
