With Lagos located in Nigeria, and Toronto in Canada, the two cities are separated by around 5540 miles as well as the North Atlantic Ocean. Traveling by plane is the only way to cross such a great distance in less than a day: flights from Lagos to Toronto generally take between 18h – 19h. Airlines such as British Airways, United Airlines and Brussels Airlines operate along this route, among others, with a stop off along the way in cities such as Brussels, London and Washington.
Overlooking Lake Ontario, Toronto is home to famous sights and attractions such as the CN Tower, the Royal Ontario Museum, and Toronto Zoo. It's also home to a number of interesting districts and parks which visitors are welcome to explore at their leisure. A walk through the historic Distillery District is one not to miss: the area is known for its cafes, restaurants, theaters and art galleries. For a break from the city and a taste of nature in Toronto, the Toronto Islands are a popular choice. Accessible by ferry, the islands offer recreational activities such as biking and jogging paths; plenty of space for picnics; water sports such as canoeing and kayaking; and the Centreville Amusement Park.
