There are some great (and some not so great) airports out there, providing a range of amenities to travelers as they travel from A to B. Now the best airports in the world have been revealed!
According to a ranking from eDreams, which has compiled a list of the top rated airports in the world according to reviews left on its website throughout 2016, these are the 10 best airports in the world.
In first place is Finland’s Helsinki-Vantaa airport which scored highly for cleanliness and efficent security checks. Glasgow International Airport came in second, while in third place is Zurich Airport.

The travel website also put together a ranking of the top 3 airports for shopping, eating and waiting areas. According to the ranking, those who want to indulge in some retail therapy should head to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (followed by Copenhagen Airport and Zurich Airport); culinary connoisseurs will enjoy the cuisine on offer at Dallas/Fort Worth (followed by Zurich Airport and Frankfurt Airport); while anyone with a long layover will appreciate the waiting areas at Dallas/Forth Worth (followed by Zurich Airport and Frankfurt Airport).
On the other end of the scale, the worst airport in the world was rated as Berlin Schönefeld Airport, with London Luton coming in second and New York LaGuardia in third.
