Get free admission to over 1,200 museums this Saturday!

This Saturday, over 1,200 museums are offering free admission as part of Museum Day Live!, hosted by Smithsonian magazine.

That’s right: this Saturday September 24, you can visit over 1,200 museums totally free of charge!

Learn all about the history of American art at The New Britain Museum of American Art in Connecticut; head to Hawaii’s Iolani Palace to check out the royal estate’s unique American Florentine style; or learn all about space at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. With over 1,200 museums to pick from there’s sure to be something for you.

Held annually for the last 12 years, Museum Day Live is a great chance to discover a new museum totally free of charge.

How can you take part? Simply register and download a ticket here. Tickets must be reserved in advance and are valid for two people so you can head off and discover your favorite museum with your favorite person!
