Megan Sullivan, a San Francisco based photographer and climber, turned a cancer diagnosis into a whirwind adventure last year as, after being given the all clear, she set off on a journey around the world.

After falling 50 feet in Yosemite, being hit by a car, and diagnosed with skin cancer after a routine dermatology appoitnment – all in the space of one month – photographer and climber Megan Sullivan decided to make a change. Less than two weeks after being given the all clear, she was already on the road, with a plan to see all 7 wonders of the world in just 13 days!

Writing on her website, Megan reflects that she “decided to see the 7 New Wonders of the World in just 13 days with a new outlook on life, to live more now”. Setting off, she documented her journey on Instagram with the hashtag #7wondersin13days, filming along the way.

Of course, the story doesn’t end there. Since her whistestop tour of the world, Megan has continued to travel and share her journey: you can keep up to date with her travel on her Instagram account here.
