According to the Tourism Authority, Tourism Australia, international visitors to Australia are especially generous with spending when it comes to spending their dollars on good food and wine.
Since December 2013, the expenditure on Australian wines and food rose by 12.6 percent which is seen to be due to the tourism campaign named ‘Restaurant Australia’ which the authorities hoped to inspire more international tourist to visit the country for an Australian culinary experience.
