Love is in the air: the world’s first in flight dating app has been launched, allowing users to connect without wi-fi!
AirDates is a new dating app and the first of its kind: it allows users to chat whilst in flight mode, without need for an internet connection to keep talking. Which means its perfect for those long, wifi-free flights!
So how does it work? The initial connection is made at the airport, where travelers can check in via the app and scan the area for potential matches based on travel destination. Once on board, the app works through Wifi Direct or Bluetooth to allow users to keep talking with matches at 35,000 feet.
There’s space to fill in preferences, while privacy settings allow users to choose whether to stay visible or remain hidden, all the while continuing to be able to chat.
