Holiday travel can be stressful, airports are generally busier and everyone is looking forward to seeing their friends and family.

But many airports try to lighten things up with Christmas decorations, entertainment and special events.

At Philadelphia International airport carolers are already making an appearance and serenading travelers passing through. Of course, Santa, the man of the moment is taking time out of his busy schedule to make daily appearances at the airport to speak to children who are flying.

There are also little elves who are giving out “Secret Santa” gifts to military personnel in uniform and a spectacular winter wonderland featuring the area’s largest ever gingerbread village!

So if you are passing through Philadelphia airport this holiday season be sure to take part in the festivities and make your travels a little more fun.
