If you’ve booked cheap flights to Dublin, chances are you’re going to be visiting the iconic Guinness Storehouse while you’re there to learn about Ireland’s most famous beer. Well, now you won’t have to go so far as a Guinness Storehouse is set to open here in the US!
Fans of the Irish stout will soon be able to head to Relay, Maryland to visit a Guinness brewery as well as take part in tasting sessions and learn how to pour the perfect pint. At least, that’s what Diageo – the company behind Guinness – is hoping. Final plans are yet to be approved but if they are it could be beer lovers dream!
Speaking to Fortune, Diageo stressed that “The new brewery would be a home for new Guinness beers created for the US market, while the iconic Guinness Stouts will continue to be brewed at St. James’s Gate in Dublin, Ireland.”
