BA open route from New York to London Gatwick

British airways will resume its London Gatwick – New York JFK service in May after a seven year break for ‘commercial reasons’.

From May 1st British Airways will be the only airline to schedule flights to New York from Gatwick, Heathrow and London City airports.

Lynne Embleton, British Airway’s managing director at LGW, said:

“The new route also complements our almost hourly service from Heathrow, thanks to our transatlantic Joint Business with American Airlines. Customers can choose from 13 daily British Airways flights and another three on American Airlines to New York, as well as our double-daily business class only service from London City.”
