As record attendance pushes Walt Disney Parks and Resorts’ to the bursting point, the company has decided to redesign their pricing system.
The Platinum Plus Pass costs $729 for Florida residents (up from $649), and $829 for those outside of Florida (up from $659). The Platinum Plus Pass (formerly known as Premium Annual Pass) is the most expensive option and includes admission to all four theme parks: the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, plus Disney’s two water parks: the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course.
The redesign and introduction of a color coded pass system always the company to better control the surge of people who attend in peak season and give off-peak visitors more of an incentive to come.
