North America’s largest travel retailer, Hudson Group, has released a list of the most popular items sold at the airport last year – and there’s one thing it seems we all want to buy.
With time to spare before catching a flight, it’s no surprise we often turn to airport stores to while away the hours. But what do we buy? Hudson Group has, CNN reports, released a list of the 10 most popular items bought in its stores last year – and water dominates the list.
With strict liquid restrictions, there’s no choice but to buy a beverage once through security and water is our tipple of choice, with H2O claiming the top 5 spots. Coming in at 6, 7 and 9 is coca cola, while peanut M&Ms are at 8 and the Wall Street Journal takes tenth place.#
When it comes to water, Dasani and Glaceau Smart Water are the most popular brands. “US Weekly”, “In Touch” and “The Economist” were on the list of the most popular magazines, while “Bossypants” by Tina Fey was the most popular book.
