Today marks the second International Day of Yoga, with celebrations held across the world.
Indian Prime Minister Modi called for an International Day of Yoga back in 2014, and on 21 June 2015 the first ever UN recognized International Day of Yoga took place. This year, Mr Modi led a group of 30,000 yoga practitioners in the city of Chandigarh in following a series of asanas, extolling the benefits of the ancient practice and even citing his belief in its potential to treat diabetes!
Elsewhere, yoga devotees gathered in New York Times Square yesterday to mark the occasion, whilst a number of studios are holding free demonstrations across the country.
Meanwhile, this man found a unique, and more than a little adorable, partner to share his yoga practice with!
