If you’re looking for the best airline to pick if you want to travel in comfort and style, look no further: the world’s top airlines according to travelers have been revealed. The winner? Qatar Airways, winning the title for the fourth time!
Announced at the SKYTRAX 2017 World Airline Awards, the annual survey allows travelers to nominate any airline they choose – and this year, for the fourth time, the most popular choice was Qatar Airways. Based in Doha, the airline also came in first in categories including the World’s Best Business Class, the World’s Best First Class Lounge and the Best Airline in the Middle East.
Coming in second was Singapore Airlines, with ANA All Nippon Airways claiming third place. The awards are seen as a prestigious accolade in the aviation world, and this year over 19 million survey entries were counted in deciding the winners.
Emirates won the award for the best in-flight entertainment; EVA Air was deemed to have the cleanest cabins; the world’s best low cost airline was revealed to be AirAsia (followed by Norwegian and jetBlue) while Thai Airways has the world’s best economy class.
