Tired of dragging your suitcase around while traveling? This travel start-up has the solution: a motorized carry on bag you can ride!
The brainchild of Chicago entrepreneur Kevin O’Donnell, the Modobag is a rideable motorized carry-on suitcase which allows the user to zip through the airport at speeds of up to 5 mph (the bag has a higher outdoor speed of 8 mph).
The suitcase also features dual USB ports, allowing you to charge those essential electronic devices on the go. Weighing in at a hefty 19lbs, you’ll need to pack light or check it in for it to fit with many airline weight restrictions.
An Indiegogo campaign is currently underway to fund the invention, which should be available in January next year, with early birds able to snap it up from $995.
