For $49 you could win a stunning resort on a tropical island in the beautiful Pacific ocean. Too good to be true? Nope – here’s the lowdown.
This is the story of Australian couple Doug and Sally Beitz, who, after owning a resort in Micronesia for twenty years, have decided to sell it. Foregoing the conventional ways of selling real estate, however, they’ve decided to take a much more unique and exciting route! In order to pass on their business, they’ve organized a raffle.
One ticket costs $49. The prize? A stunning resort on the tropical Micronesian island of Kosrae, including 16 hotel rooms, space for family and friends, a swimming pool, a private beach and more!
The business is fully functioning, debt free and comes with US $10,000 in the business bank account to boot – it’s also got great reviews on TripAdvisor, and a team of 16 long term employees.
The couple also say that the winner can be as involved or uninvolved as they like in the management of the resort – with a strong team of staff in place, you can hire a manager to take care of business whilst you relax and enjoy the island lifestyle!
Sounds like a great deal, right? So where’s the catch? Well, at least 50,000 tickets need to be sold in order for the resort to be up for grabs. If less than this amount are sold, the winner will receive half of the money raised whilst the Beitz’s will receive the other 50%.
The winner will be selected at random on July 26, so there’s still plenty of time to take part and win this unique prize! If you’ve always wanted to own a small slice of paradise, this could be your moment.
