The first of 18 remodeled Boeing 747s was introduced to British Air last week on a flight between Heathrow London and John F Kennedy airport.

The revamped jets will feature a new Panasonic entertainment system which will include more than 1,300 hours of entertainment (130 movies and 400 TV shows) and will be shown on larger touched-controlled screens.

If you would prefer to watch your own movie catalogue, each seat will have access to power outlets to plug in your own devices. As well as the improvements to the entertainment system the jet will also be sporting new seat cushions and coverings.

These fancy new jets will operate on long-haul flights from London to Boston; Chicago; Dubai; Kuwait; Lagos, Nigeria; and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
