Visitor arrival in the Dominican Republic grew 15 percent in October and is due to increase by 10 percent by the end of 2015 according to the country’s tourism minister.
Francisco Javier Garcia, tourism minister, focused on the country’s coastal and marine environments when speaking at the Tourism Conference.
Garcia announced arrival increased 17 percent in September – another successful month for them.
The impressive numbers follow numerous government and private initiatives to expand tourism across the country.
