Traveler's Edition
With so many great airlines out there, the best of the best have been revealed with Dubai-based airline Emirates taking the top spot.
Announced at the annual World Airline Awards held by Skytrax, the world’s best airlines – as voted for by over 19 million air travelers across the world – were revealed yesterday at the Farnborough International Air Show in Hampshire.
Emirates took first place, with routes to over 140 destinations in more than 80 countries worldwide and a constant view to expand. Last year’s winner Qatar Airways came in second this year, with Singapore Airlines taking third place – both airlines were praised for their excellent service.
The world’s best low cost airlines were also revealed, with AirAsia holding on to the first place title it has held for 8 years! Virgin America came second, with the airline also taking the title for the best airline in North America, and Norwegian came in third.
