On Tuesday, the United States and Cuba signed a deal which again allows scheduled flights between the two countries after 50 years. The first flights are already planned for this year.

The governments of the United States and Cuba have signed a contract that allows scheduled flights occur between the two countries. The contract provides up to 110 scheduled flights between the US and Cuba, which airlines are able to apply for.

20 of these flights will be to Havana, but beyond that, there will be 10 daily flights to each of Cuba’s nine international airports.

The deal made between US and Cuba could also see a rise in Cuba European travelers who want to visit the country before it becomes Americanized.
