Looking for some mega fun this summer? Head to Philly to ride their massive 1,000-foot-long waterslide this summer! This one-day-only event will be so wet and so wild!

Slide the City will set up the massive slide on Sedgley Drive near the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The group has become famous for hosting similar events around the US and Canada. Philadelphia is the next city to host the event. Slide the City’s event director, Chris Conran, said,

The Art Institute is the perfect backdrop for this event. It’s not every day you can put on your swimsuit and slide by such an iconic place.”

The event is scheduled to take place on August 6th, with the first sliders hitting the run at 9am. Tickets are available to book from June 3rd, with prices started at $10. Food vendors, music and other stalls will be onsite to keep you entertained while you wait your turn for the slide. What better excuse do you need to book flights to Philadelphia this August? It’d be a highlight on any family vacation.
