According to a survey of 49,000 winter sports enthusiasts, Zermatt is the place to go when it comes to skiing in the Alps. Ranking highly for overall satisfaction, the Swiss ski resort took first place for the second year running in the Best Ski Resort study, which considers 54 top Alpine ski resorts in finding the best of the best.
Best for Apres-ski is Ischgl in Austria, while those looking for value for money should head to Sulden, Italy. Families looking for a great skiing vacation need look no further than Austrian ski resort Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, which has held a good position since 2010.
