Passengers traveling on WestJet flights can now enjoy a freshly brewed McCafé Premium Roast coffee on board, as the airline partners with McDonald’s® Canada to expand its on board beverage service.

The first flight to offer McCafé coffee operated from Toronto to Calgary on November 21, and the airline plans to offer McCafé Premium Roast coffee on all flights operated on their Boeing 737 and 767 services by December 1.

The coffee, made with 100% Arabica beans, will be offered on over 140 aircraft – that means around 30,000 cups will be served every day! Speaking of the move, McDonald’s Canada President and CEO John Betts said that “We’ve always believed that the sky is the limit for McCafé – and today this officially rings true.”

McCafé Premium Roast coffee will join WestJet’s current complimentary beverage service, which included water, soft drinks, juice and tea.
