Traveler's Edition
This summer the Niagara USA Official Visitor Centre welcomes more visitors than ever before. In July visits to the center were up 91 percent and now in August the number surpass that and are up by a whopping 154 percent.
The rise in numbers is believed to be linked with the improvements at the State Park, as well as new businesses and amenities opening in downtown Niagara Falls.
The knock on effect of the increased visitors has vastly improved hotel numbers, which are seen to be increasing year on year. In July occupancy rates were up by more than 3 percent.
There are some projects currently in the pipeline, in an attempt to keep up with the increase of demand.
