Queensland Government has called in K-POP star Rain to target South Koreans and encourage them to visit the Sunshine State.
The South Korean actor and singer-songwriter will feature in Queensland’s new tourism marketing campaign in an attempt to convince South Koreans to visit attractions such as Cairns, Great Barrier Reef, Gold Coast and the nightlife in Brisbane.
Rain is a huge star in South Korea and considered one of their greatest pop stars.
In addition to the tourism marketing campaign, Tourism and Events Queensland will also work in partnership with Korean Air to promote low cost flight deals and holiday packages to Queensland; which will be launched early next month.
