Traveler's Edition
As you can imagine, the competition gets pretty stiff when it comes to choosing the World’s 50 Best Bars of 2017. This year the American Bar at the Savoy Hotel in London, England took the #1 spot on the list, pushing last year’s winner, The Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog in NYC out of the way.
The list of the World’s 50 Best Bars is now in its 9th year and calls upon the expertise of 500 drink experts from all over the world to create this global guide. This year’s winner has been serving the best cocktails in the UK capital for more than 125 years. According to The WOrld’s Best, the American Bar at the Savoy is “one of the most important cocktail destinations open today.”
The other London bars made it into the top 10 this year, including Dandelyan, Connaught Bar and Bar Termini so make sure you check them out the next time you book flights to London and need some inspiration for your night out on the town.
As for US bars, 13 made the list this year including an impressive seven in New York City alone. The NoMad came in at #3, Dead Rabbit at #5 and Attaboy at #8. For the complete list, check out The World’s 50 Best Bars 2017.
