According to global hostel booking website Hostelworld.com, today is the busiest day for booking travel around the world – and the evening is when our interest in international travel really peaks.
It may come as little surprise that once the weekend is over and it’s back to reality (and the 9 – 5), many of us start to think about booking a vacation abroad for a little escapism. Hostelworld have crunched the numbers, and revealed that since 2014, a Monday in July has been the most popular time to do this.
The hostel booking site anticipates bookings will increase by 40% today, as we start looking for that next taste of adventure. Popular destinations include Italy, Spain and Germany while between 8 – 9pm is when most of us will get online to book that trip.
