This Russian grandmother is 89 years old, but she’s not letting this stop her exploring our planet! Instead of spending her time in a retirement home, or alone in front of the TV, she’s decided to use her pension to see new places: Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam, the Czech Republic…
Her adventures could have remained anonymous had she not met Russian blogger Ekaterina Papina in Vietnam, who propelled her to internet stardom. Since then, Baba Lena has started an Instagram account which she uses to share her adventures with her 11.4k followers.
